Preparation:
It is essential that adequate preparation is carried out prior to the application of SpECtop Primer FX. The prepared surface should be free from laitance, dust, algae, oil, and grease to ensure optimal adhesion and performance. Application Method:
The mixed product may be applied by brush. For best results, it is recommended to use a theoretical consumption rate of 10 – 15 m²/litre/coat. On particularly porous substrates, a second coat may be required to achieve the desired coverage and performance. Application Temperature Range:
– Minimum: 5°C
– Maximum: 35°C
When applying at temperatures below 15°C, it is advisable to store the material in an environment above this temperature to enhance mixing and application characteristics. At temperatures above 35°C, while the material can still be applied, the pot life will be reduced, necessitating storage in a cool environment prior to mixing for best outcomes.
