The SpECtop CPD Elastomeric Membrane is specifically designed for a variety of applications that require robust waterproofing and crack bridging solutions:

Surfaces to be treated must be sound, free from oil, and other contaminants. This includes any loosely adhering coatings, laitance, and dust to ensure optimal adhesion and performance.

The surface to be coated with SpECtop CPD Elastomeric Membrane should be primed with SpECtop CPD Primer SB or SpECtop CPD Primer SF. This step is crucial for providing a highly flexible waterproof membrane.

SpECtop CPD Elastomeric Membrane is supplied in a two-component kit consisting of a pigmented curing agent and a base component. Mixing should be done with a slow-speed heavy-duty electric drill and a spiral mixing paddle for at least 3 minutes until the material appears uniform in color and consistency.

Immediately after mixing, spread the SpECtop CPD Elastomeric Membrane using a squeegee and/or medium pile roller. Ensure that it is only applied over previously prepared and primed surfaces, adhering to the time sequence of application as recommended by the primer guidelines.

Further coatings and toppings should be applied when the SpECtop CPD Elastomeric Membrane is tack-free to achieve optimal results.

The SpECtop CPD Elastomeric Membrane is available in the following packaging options with recommended coverage rates:

• 4.5 litres @ 1.0 – 2.0 m²/litre/coat
• 15 litres @ 1.0 – 2.0 m²/litre/coat

When using SpECtop CPD Primer SB, the coverage is:

• 1 litre pack gives 10-15 m²
• 5 litre pack gives 50-75 m²
