It is essential that adequate preparation is carried out prior to the application of SpECtop HF. Grit blasting is recommended to remove all laitance, grease, and oil. The surface should be dry and dust-free. Any cracked or damaged areas must be repaired with appropriate materials. Priming:
Priming is recommended for SpECtop HF. Use SpECtop HF Base and Hardener at a rate of 7-10m²/L for sealing the surface. Alternatively, use SpECtop Primer FX. If mechanical key is required for the screed, broadcast HF filler F1 immediately after applying the primer. Mixing:
Mixing and application of SpECtop HF should be performed by trained personnel. Stir the base component well. Start the rotary drum mixer and charge the filler. Add the base component while mixing for 2 minutes. Pour the hardener component into the mix and continue mixing for another 2-3 minutes. Application:
Apply SpECtop HF to the pre-primed area, leveling to the required thickness with a steel trowel and aided by a spiked roller. It is important to apply the product within 24 hours of the application of the primer. Cleaning:
Clean equipment with SpECtop PU Cleaning Fluid before the product has cured. Temperature Range:
