Application of SpECcure AC
Preparation: SpECcure AC may be spray applied onto the surface of fresh concrete provided no surface water is present. The nozzle of the knapsack spray unit should be kept at approximately 0.5 metre from the concrete surface. Ensure complete and even coverage of the area being treated.
Surface Pretreatment: When applied to newly demoulded concrete, it is advisable that the concrete is pretreated with a water spray to avoid absorption of the membrane once applied. Application to dry surfaces may result in unsightly surface staining.
Foot Traffic: The membrane should not be disturbed until the concrete has gained sufficient strength to accept light foot traffic.
