Application:
Surface Preparation:
To achieve good adhesion, the glass surface must be clean and free of any residue. Your glass supplier can verify proper cleaning specifications.
Spacer:
To ensure optimal adhesion, the spacer surface must be clean and also free of any residue.
Mixing:
Correct proportions of base and hardener are extremely important to achieve the best results. Given the various dispensing systems available, SpECseal IG should be metered to deliver base and hardener at a ratio of 100:10 by volume. Application should be done at a temperature of 15°C to 30°C.
Temperature Influence on Viscosity:
In most liquids, viscosity is influenced by various factors, with temperature playing a key role. It is suggested that the individual components should be stored under controlled temperature for at least 24 hours prior to mixing and application.
