The SpECtop LFE2 & SpECtop LFE4 are designed for effective application across various industrial and commercial environments. Proper preparation and application techniques are essential to achieving optimal performance:

Preparation:
– Ensure the substrate is adequately prepared by removing laitance, grease, and oil through grit blasting.
– The surface must be dry and dust-free. Any cracked or damaged areas should be repaired with suitable materials.
Mixing:
– Mix the curing agent and base component in a 25-litre metal container using a heavy-duty electric drill and spiral mixing paddle for at least two minutes until uniform.
– Gradually add the graded filler while continuing mixing for another five minutes.
Priming:
– Prime the prepared surface with either SpECtop Primer F1 or SpECtop Primer FX to ensure adhesion.
– The mixed primer should be applied at a coverage rate of 0.1 – 0.2 litre/m².
Application:
– Pour a quantity of the mixed product onto the tack-free primed surface and use a steel trowel to float it into a seamless finish.
– For SpECtop LFE2, apply at a thickness range of 2 – 3mm; for SpECtop LFE4, apply between 3 – 5mm.
Curing Times:
– It is crucial to allow proper curing times before subjecting the surface to foot or vehicular traffic, as specified in the technical data.
