Blindside waterproofing is a method where the membrane is installed before the structural concrete is poured. It is required when the foundation wall is right against a property line or soil lagging.
Conventional membranes are applied to the outside of a finished concrete wall. Blindside membranes are applied to the temporary shoring wall first, and then concrete is poured directly against them.
Our blindside membranes form an inseparable mechanical bond with the wet concrete mixture as it cures. This prevents water from traveling or pooling between the membrane and the structural wall.
Yes, our high-density membranes are specifically engineered to provide full defense against aggressive groundwater minerals, methane gas, chlorides, and active sulfates common in KSA soils.
They must be stored vertically or horizontally on flat pallets in a clean, shaded area. Avoid puncturing the sheets with sharp tools, and keep them clean from dust before pouring concrete.
Absolutely. All our blindside waterproofing solutions are tested to meet international ASTM standards and comply fully with below-grade safety and basement structural durability criteria of the SBC.
