SpECcell Fibre is used in applications such as expansion joints in trafficked surfaces, bridges, roads, runways, and pedestrian areas. Additionally, it can be applied in structural separation joints between buildings, in brickwork, concrete, and block construction, as well as a separator strip in slab pavement construction.

SpECcell Fibre prevents deterioration by resisting dry or wet rot, fungus attack, and environmental factors. Its durable, bitumen-impregnated composition ensures long-lasting performance, protecting joints from moisture and other damaging elements.

SpECcell Fibre’s performance is enhanced by its high resilience, compressibility, and durability against environmental deterioration. It exhibits a low weight loss after stress application, a recovery rate of 81% after compression, and resistance to dry or wet rot and fungus attack. Additionally, it maintains structural integrity within a service temperature range of -10 to +75°C, ensuring reliability in various applications.

SpECcell Fibre is available in thickness options of 10 mm, 12.5 mm, 19 mm, and 25 mm.

SpECcell Fibre is installed by placing it against formwork on the concreting side before pouring concrete. After the initial pour, it remains in place during the curing process. Once the formwork is removed, the fibreboard is cut back to create a sealing slot. In brick or blockwork, it is positioned while laying, ensuring the formation of a proper sealing slot for expansion and contraction.

SpECcell Fibre is available in thickness options of 10 mm, 12.5 mm, 19 mm, and 25 mm.
